LETHBRIDGE – Lethbridge County has been approved for funding from the provincial Disaster Recovery Program to make repairs following the spring 2018 flooding.

The funding, totalling $275,000, will cover the cost of fixing damaged infrastructure, and help the county recover the costs of cleaning out culverts and ditches.

Individuals who suffered uninsurable property damage or had other expenses from the flood can also apply for financial assistance. An application form can be found on the AEMA website.

The deadline to apply is Jan. 2.
