Two drug busts in three days for Blood Tribe Police

STANDOFF —  While conducting a Search Warrant at a home in the Moses Lake community o the Blood Indian Reserve on Wednesday (Nov 28), Blood Tribe Police found a cache of drugs and money.

Officers seized 21 grams of Crack Cocaine, 3 grams of Methamphetamine, cell phones & $830 in Canadian currency.

Police arrested and charged Dakota Laderoute of Edmonton and Leanne Ternes of Cardston, with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine & Methamphetamine, Possession of Proceeds of Crime & Trespassing as per the Kainai Trespass Act.

Laderoute remains in custody and Ternes was released. Both are scheduled to appear in Cardston Provincial Court December 3, 2018.
