UPDATE: Missing teen from Fort Macleod found safe

UPDATE: RCMP have confirmed Gerad Vanee was located and is safe.

FORT MACLEOD —  The public’s help is needed to locate a missing 17-year-old boy.

Gerad John Vanee was last seen during the night of Saturday (Dec 8).  When Gerad did not arrive home from a babysitting job at the expected time, his family notified RCMP.

Gerad is Caucasian, 5’8″ tall and weighs 138lbs.  He has brown hair and blue eyes.

The teen was last seen driving a 2017 white Ford Explorer with Alberta licence plate BWR – 5658.  There is no known direction of travel or intended destination.
