Fort Macleod RCMP investigating vehicle thefts

FORT MACLEOD – Two work trucks were stolen, and several others broken into and damaged in Fort Macleod just before Christmas.

According to RCMP, on Christmas Eve night, a red 1996 dually Ford service truck with a red tool box on the rear of the truck was taken from a business on Hwy 785, while a black 1998 Dodge Ram with a flat deck was also taken from a business in the 500 Blk of 12 Street.

Several other vehicles were broken into during the same time period in the industrial area. In addition to the vehicles, several batteries and various tools were also stolen from other locations within the town.

Police believe the same person or persons were responsible for all the incidents.
