RCMP investigate storage area thefts in Coaldale and Picture Butte

COALDALE – RCMP are investigating a series of thefts from both Coaldale and Picture Butte storage areas over the last several weeks. According to a news release, RVs and trailers stored for the winter at various locations have been the main target. Police are warning owners not to store any valuables in their vehicles if possible and to check on their items on a regular basis. Anyone who has information on the break-ins is encouraged to contact Coaldale Rural RCMP at 403-329-5080, Coaldale Municipal RCMP at 403-345-5552 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
