Trevor Pritchard found guilty in sex assault, luring and child porn case
LETHBRIDGE – Madame Justice Johnna Kubik asked Trevor Pritchard to stand Wednesday afternoon at Court of Queen’s Bench in Lethbridge(Jan. 16), as she told the 35-year-old she found him guilty on all charges against him.
In delivering her hour and a half long decision, Justice Kubik told the court the Crown had the burden of proof beyond a reasonable doubt; that if she believed Pritchard’s testimony, he must be acquitted, or that if there was any reasonable doubt of his guilt, he also must be acquitted.
But that’s was not what she found.
Kubik began by talking about the reliability and the credibility of the witnesses and their testimony and said she found “no evidence to support the contention that the Facebook records (submitted to the court as evidence) were unreliable.”
