Two dead following highway collision near Beiseker

BEISEKER, AB – Two people have died after a collision on Highway 9 near Beiseker.

According to a release from the Beiseker RCMP, the highway was closed overnight between Range Road 251 and Range Road 253.

Both drivers were the sole occupants of their vehicles and succumbed to their injuries. At around 5:00 a.m. Feb. 15, the highway was re-opened.

The time of the collision was not disclosed by the RCMP but happened sometime during the night of Feb. 14.
