Lethbridge Hurricanes buck Swift Current Broncos on the road Friday night

SWIFT CURRENT – The Lethbridge Hurricanes scored early and often on their way to a 7-2 rout of the Broncos in Swift Current on Friday, Feb.15.
First period goals by Jake Elmer at 1:47, Elmer with his second goal shorthanded at 4:41, Logan Barlage at 6:47 and Nick Henry at 14:24 had Lethbridge off to the races. Swift Currents Carter Chorney had their lone marker of the first at 7:29.
Hurricane Noah Boyko continued the scoring at 7:44 of the second with assists from Bellerive and Calen Addison. However, the Broncos answered with a second period goal of their own at 16:01 from Connor Horning.
The third period was all ‘Canes with Boyko finding the back of the net for the second time Friday night, and Jake Elmer rounding out the scoring with his hat trick goal at 12:43.
The Broncos are now 1-9-0-1 in their last 10 games. It was the final meeting of four, between the two teams during the regular season. The Hurricanes now have a 3-0-1-0 against the team.
