Liberals’ Summer Jobs Attestation Infringes on Our Charter Rights

February 4, 2018 - 7:03pm

LETHBRIDGE -- Today is the deadline to apply for the Canada Summer Jobs program. At first glance, this might not matter much to you, especially if you don’t own your own business, manage a not-for-profit, or participate in a faith-based group; however, this federal program has become the battleground on which the fundamental freedoms of Canadians are coming under attack.

Canada Celebrates 150 Years!

July 21, 2017 - 9:29am

On July 1st we celebrated Canada’s 150th birthday. Over the course of the day, I travelled to five communities within the Lethbridge riding to participate in the many festivities taking place. Without exception, I was tremendously proud of the amazing community spirit show-cased at each event.

An exciting time in the big blue tent

June 21, 2017 - 10:55am

LETHBRIDGE - With Andrew Scheer elected as the new permanent leader of the Conservative Party of Canada, it’s an exciting time to be a Conservative! Our leadership convention in Toronto came down to a nail-biting finish, with Scheer overtaking Maxime Bernier by a narrow, but decisive margin.

This leadership race presented a critical choice for our party, and I believe the grassroots members made an excellent decision! Scheer has a proven track record that shows him as someone who leads with integrity and optimism.

Nominations open now for Community Builders Volunteer Medals

May 5, 2017 - 10:53am

LETHBRIDGE - Last week was National Volunteer Week, a week where we recognize the amazing work being done by those who give of their time and resources to advance our community.

Permit me to start off by extending a huge thank-you to everyone who volunteers in the city or county of Lethbridge! Whether you volunteer for a local sports team, help at a shelter or food bank, or donate your time to one of the many cultural, religious, agricultural, or service organizations in our community, the Lethbridge constituency wouldn’t be the same without you!

Standing on the shoulders of giants

March 9, 2017 - 12:31pm

LETHBRIDGE - Youth and young people are one of my main motivations for serving as the Member of Parliament for Lethbridge.

I believe in the rising generation. Canada’s young men and women will become the future doers, the future advocates, and the future leaders within our community. That said, I believe the time to invest in our young people is now. Canada needs them—their passion, their idealism, their energy, and their fresh perspective.

Appreciating Lethbridge's supports throughout 2016

January 10, 2017 - 4:28pm

LETHBRIDGE -   As the Christmas season fast approaches, it’s a good time to pause for just a moment to appreciate the joys of the Christmas season and the amazing blessings we enjoy each and every day throughout the year. As your Member of Parliament, I would like to take this opportunity to spread a little cheer and recognize all of the great work being done in the Lethbridge community.
