Race Walker Evan Dunfee Stripped of Bronze Medal After Japanese Protest

RIO DE JANEIRO - Canadian race walker Evan Dunfee is losing his bronze medal in the 50-kilometre event at the Rio Olympics.

Japan's Hirooki Arai originally finished third but was disqualified for elbowing Dunfee in the final minutes of the race.

RIO DE JANEIRO:  Canada's Meaghan Benfeito has won her second medal of the Rio Olympics, capturing bronze in the women's 10-metre platform event on Thursday.

Benfeito of Laval, Que., finished with an overall score of 389.20.
