Swimmer Penny Oleksiak Carries Flag Into Olympic Closing Ceremony

RIO DE JANEIRO — Star swimmer Penny Oleksiak will carry the Canadian flag into Maracana Stadium for tonight's Olympic closing ceremony.

The 16-year-old from Toronto won four medals in Rio, including Canada's first gold.

RIO DE JANEIRO - Eric Lamaze has won a bronze medal in individual show jumping at the Rio Olympics.

The Schomberg, Ont., rider and his brown mare Fine Lady 5 knocked down one rail the only one they missed in the entire Olympic competition to finish third in a jump-off.

Race Walker Evan Dunfee Stripped of Bronze Medal After Japanese Protest

RIO DE JANEIRO - Canadian race walker Evan Dunfee is losing his bronze medal in the 50-kilometre event at the Rio Olympics.

Japan's Hirooki Arai originally finished third but was disqualified for elbowing Dunfee in the final minutes of the race.
