EDMONTON – The province is working with an investment contractor to help connect Alberta businesses with Silicon Valley.

Tim Hortons, ousted Lethbridge franchisee reach agreement

LETHBRIDGE – The parent company of Tim Hortons says it has reached an agreement with the head of a franchisee group who had his four Lethbridge restaurants seized.

Restaurant Brands International (RBI) says David Hughes has left the Tim Hortons business.

New home construction continues downward trend

LETHBRIDGE – Housing starts in the Lethbridge area dropped by roughly half in August compared to the same month one year ago, according to the latest data from Canada Mortgage and Housing Corp. (CMHC)

Growth in organic farming: key component to increased Canadian agri-food exports

OTTAWA:  The contribution of organic farmers is being recognized during Canada's National Organic Week, which runs until September 16th.   It's the largest annual celebration of organic food, farming and products across the country.
