LETHBRIDGE - More than 500 little pink flags wave in the wind the morning after volunteers spent Wednesday evening (May 23) picking up pound after pound of dog excrement after many owners wouldn't do it themselves.

LETHBRIDGE -  There are thousands of used, dirty needles in parks, around homes, littered in the streets and in many other high-traffic areas around Lethbridge.

ARCHES along with the City of Lethbridge want people to know that they are trying to do something about it.

Alberta cabinet minister Lori Sigurdson on leave during treatment for leukemia

EDMONTON -- Alberta cabinet minister Lori Sigurdson is going on medical leave after being diagnosed with a type of leukemia.

Sigurdson, in a social media posting, says she was diagnosed last week after experiencing unexplained symptoms.
