Housing, airport improvements, governance reviews - and raises for Council in new Strategic Plan

LETHBRIDGE - As part of City Council’s 2017-2021 Strategic Plan, which includes a review of governance, a comprehensive housing strategy, and airport revitalization, council will likely be compensated more for their duties.

Privacy Commissioner says Avenue Living privacy breach poses a risk

MEDICINE HAT  --  A company that operates apartment buildings in several Alberta communities, including Lethbridge, Medicine Hat and Red Deer has had a privacy breach.

Avenue Living issued a notification in the newspaper in Medicine Hat on May 25th.

FORT MCMURRAY  — Deadlines have been extended for hundreds of insurance claims that remain unresolved more than two years after a wildfire dubbed "The Beast" tore through Fort McMurray and surrounding areas in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo.

LETHBRIDGE – With harsh winter weather that continued past the start of spring, housing starts in Lethbridge remained lower during the month of March compared to a year earlier.
