Upgrades to start this week at Stewart Siding industrial park

LETHBRIDGE COUNTY, AB – Planned upgrades are set to begin at the Stewart Siding industrial park in Lethbridge County this week.

The county said Tollestrup Construction will start work on upgrading a portion of the road network within the park this week. Roads that are scheduled for upgrading at Oak Avenue, Albert Street, Ponderosa Road, Cox Drive, and Clark Road.

The estimate is that this project will be finished by the end of May, weather permitting. Construction work includes minor grading, access improvement, gravel placement and paving.

Businesses impacted by construction will receive a letter notifying them of any disruptions, according to the county. No formal road closures are anticipated at this time.

However, disruptions to traffic throughout the duration of the project are expected. Drivers are asked to watch out and obey all traffic signage and to be aware of crews working in the area.
