Emergency services respond to early morning fire

LETHBRIDGE, AB — Lethbridge Fire Fighters responded to a house fire in the early hours Sunday May 15, 2022. At approximately 2:40 a.m. the Public Safety Communications Centre got the call about the fire and a total of 22 Fire Fighters from four separate stations were able to extinguish the blaze in less than an hour.
A Lethbridge Police Officer was also dispatched to the scene after the initial 911 call, and after determining all residents had evacuated, attempted to extinguish the fire until Fire Fighters arrived on the scene.
Fire investigators will begin their investigation into the cause and origin of the fire on Monday May 16, 2022.
There were no injuries reported.
