No injuries reported in west Lethbridge fire

LETHBRIDGE, AB – Crews responded to a garage fire on the west side early Monday morning.

Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services said its members were called to a single-family house fire on the 400 block of Highlands Boulevard West.

At approximately 1:00 a.m. on March 1, 26 firefighters from four stations arrived at the home to find a garage fully engulfed in flames. It was quickly extinguished.

No injuries were reported.

Damages are estimated to be less than $100,000. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
