Chilly “Polar Plunge” Event Raising Money For Special Olympics

LETHBRIDGE – The 5th annual Polar Plunge fundraiser for Special Olympics will take place on Saturday at Nicholas Sheran Lake.
The event is hosted by the Lethbridge Police Service and the Alberta Law Enforcement Torch Run.
After collecting donations, brave residents will jump into the chilly water. Those who want to contribute but stay dry can make a donation and receive a “Too Chicken to Plunge” t-shirt.
Registration starts at 10:30 a.m, with the actual plunge beginning at Noon.
