Hurricanes Post 4-2 Valentine’s Day Win in Calgary

LETHBRIDGE:   The Hurricanes capped their third game in as many days with a 4-2 over the Hitmen in Calgrgy on Sunday Afternoon.  

In spite of out-shooting the Hitmen 15-4 in the first period, the two teams were tied 1-1 at the end of the first period.  The Canes’ Colton Kroeker opened the scoring, assisted by Jordy Bellerive and Cory Millette on a power play.  The end of the second period saw the game tied again, at two goals apiece.

The Hurricanes wrapped up the scoring with back-to-back goals in penalty filled third period.  Jordy Bellerive scored on a power play, at 6:37, assisted by Kord Pankewicz and Colton Kroeker. Just over two minutes later, Carter Folk made the final goal of the game, assisted by Brady Reagan.
