Another Youth Pleads Guilty to Attempted Robbery
LETHBRIDGE: A pre-sentence report has been ordered for another youth, who was involved in the attempted robbery of a west side service station in November.
The report was ordered following a guilty plea to attempted robbery and wearing a disguise to commit an offence.
On November 6, 2015, the youth and two others attempted to hold up a service station on McMaster Boulevard West with an air soft gun and a baseball bat. All three were wearing bandanas, sunglasses and had their hoods pulled up. They demanded cash and cigarettes, but fled the scene on foot when the clerk refused and called police. He admitted to being the one carrying the bat.
A pre-sentence report has been ordered for the youth, with the case back in court April 18.
