Future Police Dogs Need Names

ALBERTA – The Alberta RCMP has 13 future police dogs on the way, and they need your help naming them.

The German Shepard pups will be born at the Innisfail Police Dog Service Training Centre this year.

The contest rules are simple:

1.) You can only suggest one name

2.) It must be suitable for both a male and female

3.) Can be no longer than nine letters long

4.) Must have one or two syllables

5.) You must be 14-years old or younger

 

Submissions can be made until March 22nd either online here, or by mail to:

The 13 winners will be announced on April 26, with each receiving a photo of the pup they named, a stuffed dog named Justice and a special RCMP cap.
