Vehicle Roll-Over East of Lethbridge Wednesday Morning

LETHBRIDGE: Coaldale RCMP are investigating after a collision along Highway 3 just before 8:30 Wednesday morning.

Police say a black Chevrolet Equinox attempted to turn left to head eastbound on Highway 3 from Range Road 212. It then collided with a westbound silver Pontiac G5.

The lone male driver, said to be in his early 20’s, was taken to Chinook Regional Hospital as a precaution after the Pontiac car rolled on its passenger side. However, it’s believed that he didn’t suffer any serious injuries.

The female driver of the Equinox and her young passenger were not injured as a result. Damage to the vehicle was to the front end on the passenger side.

Police don’t believe alcohol or drugs were a factor, but a Traffic Safety Act charge is being contemplated.
