CANstruction Display Back After Short Postponement

LETHBRIDGE – The CANstruction event in support of the Lethbridge and Interfaith food banks is back for another year.

After being slightly postponed, Centre Village Mall has made way for three structures.  Organizers wanted to keep up the tradition of the event this year with a smaller amount of teams, while they work on bigger, better plans for next year.

From now until March 20th, the mall, Doug Bergen Associated Engineering and Talbera International Technolgies have assembled teams to build their creations.

Each unique structure is built entirely out of canned food, which will be donated to both of the food banks when the display comes to an end.

The spirit of CANstruction is to be a display rather than a competition. Residents are encouraged to bring along donations when viewing the structures.
