However, they dropped their undefeated title to NAIT with a 72-69 loss in the semifinal on Friday. Lakeland was also undefeated heading into Saturday’s match up, but were downed by St. Mary’s.

Logan Moncks, ACAC second team all-star, scored 25 points, while Emma Lowry, Jackie Tollestrup, Sunder West and Leah Ekubazgi also managed to make double-digits.

The ladies finished with a 23-1 overall record.

In men’s play, a 95-79 loss to the top-ranked Keyano Huskies in the quarterfinal on Thursday ended any medal hopes.

They competed in the consolation bracket on Friday, but were just edged out 91-90 by the Grande Prairie Regional College Wolves.

The Kodiaks also took this wekend to say their goodbyes to two players. Travis Butt, former ACAC all-star, and Chaz Johnson, ACAC first team all-star this season, have both finished their time at Lethbridge College.

Both players helped the Kodiaks win an ACAC championship in 2015.
