Highway Crash Claims Life of 77-Year Old

LETHBRIDGE – A 77-year old is the victim of a fatal collision on Highway 23 Thursday morning.

RCMP and emergency crews responded to the scene just north of the Nobleford roundabout around 10 a.m.

A pickup truck was travelling northbound when it collided with a southbound semi truck and trailer unit.

The 77-year old passenger of the pick up truck was pronounced dead at the scene, while the 78 year old driver of the pick up was transported to Chinook Regional Hospital with unknown injuries. The driver and passenger of the semi were not injured.
