VULCAN – Canada’s Official Star Trek Capital will be in for an out of this world experience this summer!

Market Street Vulcan and Tourism Vulcan announced that Adam Nimoy, the son of late Leonard Nimoy, will make an appearance at Vul-Con 2016.

It’s all part of the 50th Anniversary of Star Trek (July 9th and 10th) in the small town of Vulcan, Alberta.

On the 9th, Nimoy will be on hand for the unveiling of an honourary plaque for his father, at the Spock bust in the town’s centre at 9-am.

He’ll also be hosting a question-and-answer session and sign free autographs inside the convention hall. Seating for the Q&A is first come first served, except for VIP ticket holders.

Other celebrity guests will include Robert Beltran, Sally Kellerman, Robyn Curtis, Julie Cobb, Rosemary Morgan, Dominic Keating, Andrew Robinson and Manu Intiraymi, all of which are making their first appearances in Alberta.

Tickets to the convention are available here.
