LETHBRIDGE – Extremely poor road conditions and visibility Thursday night kept police busy on highways around Lethbridge.
Coaldale and Picture Butte RCMP were called to deal with a number of vehicles going off Highways 3, 23 and 25.
Inside the city, the speed limit on Whoop-Up Drive had to be reduced to 60-km/h until 11-am. It has since returned to 90-km/h.
Drivers are reminded to slow down, maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front of you, and use extra caution when approaching and crossing bridge decks and intersections.
