London Road Area Power Outage Planned for Wednesday

LETHRBIDGE: Upgrades to power lines in the London Road area on Wednesday, will require a temporary power outage.

The outage will take place between 9 a.m.-4 p.m.  about 30 homes along the 100, 200 and 300 blocks of 7TH Avenue South as well as the 700 blocks of 3 Street South, 4 Street South and 5 Street South, and the 300 and 400 blocks of 8A Avenue South.

Residents should take note that garage door openers will not work during a power outage, so affected residents need to remove vehicles from garages ahead of time.
