EDMONTON: Alberta’s justice minister says there has been a potential privacy breach involving about 60 people involved in the province’s maintenance enforcement program.
Kathleen Ganley says her department and the Edmonton Police Service are investigating.
Under the program the government collects court-ordered child support, spousal and partner support payments on behalf of people who are to receive the money.
Ganley says the investigation centres on at least one employee and involves personal and confidential information.
