Man Accidentally Shoots Himself While Hunting

FORT MACLEOD – RCMP and Emergency Services responded to an accidental firearm discharge on Wednesday afternoon.
Around 2:15-pm, a 52-year old Lethbridge man shot himself while hunting on Crown land near Beaver Creek Road, northwest of Fort Macleod.
He was attempting to load his 22-calibre firearm at the time.
The man was able to get himself to a nearby road and was assisted by a passing motorist.
