LETHBRIDGE – A Calgary man has been brought up on a number of charges after allegedly touching three females, two of which were minors, inappropriately in a hotel swimming pool.

On Saturday (April 16), police responded to the hotel along the 2300 block of Mayor Magrath Drive after receiving the complaint. They managed to arrested 28-year old, Wijdan Yasir, without incident.

The vicitims were not known to the accused.

Yasir has since been charged with three charges of sexual assault and two charges of sexual interference with a minor, and released on $1,000 bail. He is to appear in Lethbridge Court on April 29 at 9:30 a.m.

Police say since this took place at a hotel, there may be more unidentified victims or witnesses. They’re asking anyone to come forward with any additional information that may assist the investigation.
