River Valley Under Immediate Fire Ban

LETHBRIDGE:   When temperatures rise, and are nearing 30 degrees, it will come as no surprise that there is a corresponding rise in concern about grass fires.

With that in mind, the City had issued an immediate Fire Ban on all open fires in the River Valley area. 

Excluded from the ban are the stoves and fireplaces located at the following:

— John Martin Recreation Area

— Rotary Picnic Shelter
