Record High Temperatures Across Alberta on Tuesday

ALBERTA – Environment Canada reports that the hot weather seen across the province on Tuesday broke over a dozen temperature records.

In southern Alberta,Vauxhall had the highest temperature in the region at 30.3. Elsewhere, Lethbridge hit 29.5, Claresholm reached 29.1, Pincher Creek slipped past a previous record with a high of 25.8, and Waterton reached 24.8.

The last time temperatures were this high at the beginning of May was 1998.

The hot weather is expected to continue on Wednesday, before cooling off slightly on Thursday.
