Coaldale and County of Lethbridge Lift Fire Bans While City Has Partial Fire Ban

LETHBRIDGE – A total fire ban has been lifted within city limits.

However, a partial ban still remains in effect for all open fires in the Oldman River Valley.

The partial ban excludes:

– John Martin Recreation Area
– Rotary Picnic Shelter
– Elks Community Compound
– Picnic Shelter at Popson Park
– Community Fire Pit at Bridgeview RV Resort
– Any fire pit at a private residential dwelling

The City of Lethbridge thanks residents for practicing fire safety. 

Also, Lethbridge County and the Town of Coaldale lifted their Fire Bans on Monday.
