Palliser Schools Moving Forward with a Two Member Operational Review Panel
LETHBRIDGE – Palliser Regional Schools is hoping to move forward with its operational review after hitting a snag.
Contracts were sent out to three members chosen for the review panel, but one refused to sign for reasons that remain unknown.
However, Colleen Deitz, Palliser Board Chair, made it clear that it was not a money issue, and the Board has to follow the New West Partnership Trade Agreement. It states that any publicly funded body, like a school board, must hold an open public procurement process for any goods or services worth $75,000 or more.
Deitz explained that some changes to the terms of reference were necessary today.
