School Safety Patrollers Celebrate Another Successful Year

Jun 1, 2016 | 11:58 AM

LETHBRIDGE – Over 450 Lethbridge and area AMA School Safety Patrollers celebrated with a day of fun on Wednesday.

Throughout the school year, young safety leaders across the city strap on their fluorescent vests and use their stop paddles to help their friends cross the street safely.

The year-end appreciation party, which took place at the Lethbridge Community Savings Place Soccer Centre, thanks the hardworking students for their volunteer participation.

Local police officers and AMA school safety experts also joined the kids for dodgeball games, tug-of-war, and an obstacle course among other fun activities.
