New Outdoor Gym Promotes Community Wellness

LETHBRIDGE – The city’s newest outdoor gym is about to make its grand opening.

The project is located along the southern end of Nicholas Sheran Lake. It was largely made possible through a grant from Alberta Blue Cross, as well as support from the City of Lethbridge and Healthy Lethbridge.

Visitors are invited to watch demonstrations of the equipment, enjoy family acitivities, music and snacks during this evening’s (Thursday, June 9) grand opening ceremony, from 6:30 to 8.

The City noted that this equipment is important for all residents to be able to access physical activity, and promotes a sense of community connectivity.
