PINCHER CREEK – A long-weekend trip ends in devastation, after a three-year boy passed away near Pincher Creek after being run over.
RCMP say the family has set up their travel trailer in the Castle Falls forestry area on June 30. The boy’s father accidentally drove over him when he went to move the motor vehicle.
Police were called around 8:30-pm, after bystanders assisted with medical care. The toddler was driven roughly 40-km to the Pincher Creek hospital with serious injuries, but died later that night.
Alcohol was not a factor, and charges are not being considered at this time.
