Police Investigating Possible Assault But Say No Shots Fired

LETHBRIDGE – Lethbridge Police say there is no evidence to suggest shots were fired, following an investigation into reported gunshots near a residence along Tartan Boulevard West.
An investigation has been launched into a possible assault that is connected to the event, however they say there is no apparent risk to the public, and people can once again return to the area.
Around 5-pm police asked everyone to avoid the area of Tartan Boulevard between Highlands Boulevard and Aberdeen Road, noting that the steps were a precaution for public safety.
