Blood Tribe Police Chief Resigns
BLOOD TRIBE – The Blood Tribe Police Chief has resigned his position.
Lee Boyd had been Chief of Police since July 2010. His resignation took effect on June 16, 2016.
Deputy Police Chief Kyle Melting Tallow will serve as acting Chief of Police until a replacement is found, and he spoke to Lethbridge News Now about what this will mean for the community.
“We’re going to continue to operate as normal, the community should not feel any change in service delivery, in fact we’re working on a number of projects that were handed over to me from the former chief to work towards community safety,” explained Melting Tallow.
