LETHBRIDGE:  The death of a nine-month old baby boy is being investigated as a homicide.

On April 28th, EMS was called  to a report of a baby in medical distress at a home along the 600 block of 17th Street North.

When paramedics arrived, they found nine-month-old Austin Lucas Wright inside the home. Wright wasn’t breathing and was in cardiac arrest. He was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

An autopsy was completed by the Calgary Medical Examiner’s office and an investigation into the death was launched.
