He has been accused of promoting conspiracy theories, and denying the Holocaust. But did Dr. Anthony Hall violate the Alberta Human Rights Act?

That’s what the University of Lethbridge is attempting to find out, as part of an internal review of the professor. In a statement, the university confirms Hall was suspended without pay on Tuesday, Oct. 4. The school says it’s following the procedures laid out in the province’s Post-Secondary Learning Act.

“The University has taken immediate and active steps to ensure that the suspension of Dr. Hall will not impact or disrupt the studies of the affected students of the University of Lethbridge,” the school says in the statement.

In August police investigated a graphic anti-semitic image that was posted to Hall’s Facebook page by a third party, but determined that it did not meet the criteria for hate charges.
