Trio of Lethbridge residents facing charges in north side stabbing
LETHBRIDGE – A stabbing early Saturday (Oct 15th) morning has resulted in Lethbridge Police charging three city people.
Around 6:15-am, police were called to the Chinook Regional Hospital as a man was being treated for a stab wound to his chest. Officers learned he and his girlfriend had been involved in an argument with a group of people over property and money while visiting a north side home. The argument became violent when three people wielding a bat, hatchet, and knife, attacked the man and woman.
The man was struck with the bat and stabbed in the chest while the woman was struck with the bat. The suspects left the area and the man went to the hospital.
Police arrested two of the suspects later the same day, while a warrant was issued for the third.
