County warns residents of mock emergency exercise

MD OF TABER – AltaGas is letting residents around the MD of Taber know that there will be an emergency response exercise taking place Wednesday (Nov. 2) afternoon.
It will happen from 10:00 a.m. to around 1:00 p.m. at the Turin Gas Plant, located adjacent to the Lethbridge County boundary east of Range Road 19-0, a half mile south of Township Road 12-4.
The County says emergency vehicles, equipment and personnel are all part of the exercise.
The mock emergency is being used to evaluate AltaGas facility response to potential gas-related incidents.
