No injuries after six collisions along Whoop Up Drive

LETHBRIDGE – It was a mess along eastbound Whoop Up Drive Friday morning after a series of collisions, but none of them resulted in serious injuries.
 
Just before 8:00 a.m., Lethbridge Police responded to six separate collisions that involved a total of 15 vehicles.
 
One of those hit a deer first, and the other collisions were a result of sudden speed and lane changes.
 
Police remind drivers to slow down when approaching any road hazards, and to be aware of their surroundings at all times to ensure there’s enough time and distance to stop.
