Hurricanes fall to Vancouver Giants 7-3

LANGLEY – The Lethbridge Hurricanes took a devastating 7-3 loss to the Vancouver Giants, finishing up a three game road series.

Giorgio Estephan opened scoring late in the first period on Saturday (Nov. 5), with Brayden Burke and Brennan Menell following up with one power play goal a piece. The Canes had six power play opportunities. 

The Giants also made it past Lethbridge goalie, Ryan Gilchrist, twice on three power plays. Ty Ronning had the game winner for Vancouver, assisted by Dylan Plouffe and Tyler Benson.

This loss leaves the Canes with a 7-8-1-2 record. They remain third in the Central Division, and sit behind the Red Deer Rebels in eleventh across the WHL.
