Motz sworn in as MP

The new MP for Medicine Hat-Cardston-Warner has been sworn in.

Glen Motz took the oath during a Parliament Hill ceremony Monday, Nov. 14 as family and friends looked on. In a news release Motz said it was a great honour.

“Words can’t really describe the overwhelming sense of responsibility and privilege I feel in being chosen to be the representative for such an amazing and tremendously diverse riding,” he said.

Motz will be introduced in the House of Commons Wednesday, Nov. 16 before Question Period starts.

The Conservative was the winning candidate in a byelection Oct. 24.
