Trudeau discusses infrastructure, economic growth with Yukon premier
OTTAWA — Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Yukon Premier Sandy Silver met on Parliament Hill on Wednesday to discuss infrastructure, economic growth, energy and reconciliation with indigenous peoples.
Silver, territorial representatives and indigenous leaders are in Ottawa for a series of meetings with members of Trudeau’s cabinet.
“Never before has it been … government to government to government meetings, so we changed that,” Silver said in an interview on Wednesday.
“It brings certainty when everybody is at the table and the dialogue is flowing.”
