Various King’s Family brand dumplings recalled due to undeclared egg
OTTAWA — Various King’s Family Inc. brand dumplings are being recalled because they contain egg, which is not declared on the label.
People with an allergy to egg should not consume the recalled products as they may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction, says the Canadian Food Inspection Agency.
The CFIA, which triggered the recall, says there have been no reported reactions associated with the consumption of these products.
However, the agency is conducting a food safety investigation of Vancouver-based King’s Family, which may lead to other products being recalled.
