Farm accident seriously injures man near Pincher Creek

PINCHER CREEK – A man believed to be in his 50s was airlifted to Calgary following a farming accident.

Pincher Creek Emergency Services was called shortly after 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 31 to a field just southwest of the Crowsnest/Pincher Creek landfill near Lundbreck. The patient had become caught under a piece of equipment while seeding.

Local rescuers freed the man, and he was transported by STARS Air Ambulance to Calgary with serious injuries. There was no update on his condition Thursday morning.
